Dr. Au is a versatile veteran in information technology, intellectual property, securities, and banking. He had served as software engineer and database specialist at Bell Canada and IBM Canada, and as product manager at Bank of America, department head at Goldman Sachs, for a total of over 20 years. He is the principal consultant & co-founder of Right IP and the principal solicitor of MKA Law Office.
Dr. Au is also a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, the Hong Kong Law Society, the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators and the Hong Kong Institute of Patent Attorney, and director of the Intellectual Property Arbitration and Mediation Committee.
Mr. Wan mainly focus on intellectual property registration matters, and specializes trade mark search, analysis, filing and responding to official examination report. He had worked for Benny Kong & Tsai solicitors as an officer and Manager for more than six years, and Manager in another intellectual property agent company before joining Right IP.
Mr. Wan has experience in managing and maintaining worldwide trade mark portfolio for numerous overseas and local enterprises from various fields of business and industries. He regularly advises on trade mark filing and use strategies, and handles trade mark enforcement work, in Hong Kong, China and overseas. He has also assisted Huawei, Brooks Brothers, HTC, Okamoto, Artini, TWG and other well-known enterprises on trade mark matters.
Mr. Ho has extensive experience in trade mark, design and patent applications in various jurisdictions. He had worked for a well-known intellectual property firm in mainland China for five years and accounting firm in Hong Kong for two years before joining Right IP.
Mr. Ho has handled in a number of patents, design and trade mark applications and also has experience providing advice to local and international clients in a wide variety of fields in relation to anti-counterfeiting, online infringement issues, patent and design infringement and Customs intellectual property recordation. He has also assisted many Hong Kong clients to apply the Patent Application Grant which is a funding scheme to assist Hong Kong local companies and individuals to apply for patents of their own inventions, administered by the Innovation and Technology Commission.
